MAP TESTING (NWEA Measures of Academic Progress® MAP® Growth™)
MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) testing is the assessment of measuring achievement in the moment, and growth over time; in the subjects English Reading (Grade 9 -11) and English Language Use (Grades 9 -11). The test is a computer adaptive test; each question is based on the response of the previous question.
MAP tests indicate which concepts and skills students have and what they are ready to learn next. It also provides teachers with accurate information to plan differentiated instruction for individual students or groups of students regardless of their grade level. Through the teacher’s guidance; students will be able to view their own progress and be inspired to take charge of their own learning.
During 2021/2022 DUSK will administer two remote web-based MAP testing sessions; in October 2021 (Fall session) and in February 2022 (Winter session).
